BZA stands for Biinjitiwaabik Zaaging Anishinaabek. This is the Ojibway name for the former Rocky Bay Reserve.  We are extremely proud of our Native Heritage.  All of our guides and deck hands are former commercial fishermen—many still engaged in the Industry.

We offer bear hunting on our Bear Management Area which is for our exclusive use. We have many permanent stands designed specifically for archery hunting. We bait throughout the year and always have active baits available. We also offer stalk and spot bear hunting and we have several areas where we run our bear hounds.

We don’t offer non-resident moose hunting at the present time but we do accommodate and guide many moose hunters from Southern regions of the Province.

Jumbo’s Cove has a small meat processing facility on site—we process many bear, moose and deer every year. We have ice and freezer space available on site.
